With all the news about the TSA scanners and those sorts of security measures, we might forget to make sure our virtual security is up to snuff. The first link is to Gmail's guide to ensuring that your webmail is secure. While (obviously) specific to Gmail, many of the principles apply.
The second link talks about Firesheep and the dangers of public WiFi (and how to do something about it). I'm surprised that I am still running into normally savvy users who are clueless about this kind of compromising attack.
